50 Years of the JU School of Polish Language and Culture

The celebrations surrounding the 50th anniversary of the School culminated in a meeting held on Saturday, September 28, 2019, in Przegorzały – first in the auditorium, and then in the adjacent restaurant. Professor Waldemar Martyniuk, Director of the Center for Polish Language and Culture in the World, opened the event, and invited all guests to a concert by a former student, François Martineau, who – accompanied by Mateusz Gurgul – performed several songs in French and in perfect Polish, while conducting a very amusing dialogue with the audience. Dessi Christozowa, a former Polish language teacher, performed a "Summer School" adaptation of "Summertime, and the livin’ is easy...", which was enthusiastically received.

Intensive and tentative course of Polish language and culture

On the 9th of September we started a three week intensive and tentative course of Polish language and culture for students from China! The group, consisting of twenty two students is already after two years of learning polish back home. For the next two years they will be finishing their program- Polish studies - language, culture, society in the Center for Polish Language and Culture in the World.

Pan Ambasador RP w CHRL odwiedził Daliański Uniwersytet Języków Obcych

W dniu 9 maja 2019 r. Pan Ambasador RP w CHRL Wojciech Zajączkowski odwiedził Daliański Uniwersytet Języków Obcych. Polonistyka w Dalianie została otworzona w roku 2018 i od początku jej istnienia współpracuje z Centrum Języka i Kultury Polskiej w Świecie. Praktyczne zajęcia z języka polskiego prowadzi tam, współpracująca od wielu lat z CJiKPwŚ UJ, Beata Sałęga-Bielowicz. Celem wizyty było przede wszystkim poznanie studentów i nauczycieli tutejszej polonistyki, która została otwarta we wrześniu 2018 roku.

Wizyta przedstawicieli Polonistyki UJ w Chinach

W dniach 1- 10 kwietnia 2019 roku władze Wydziału Polonistyki UJ reprezentowane przez Dziekan prof. dr hab. Renatę Przybylską i Dziekana prof. dra hab. Jarosława Fazana oraz przedstawicieli Dyrekcji Centrum Języka i Kultury Polskiej w Świecie UJ - dr hab. Waldemara Martyniuka (Dyrektor CJiKPwŚ) oraz dr Adrianę Prizel-Kanię (Zastępca Dyrektora CJiKPwŚ ds. kształcenia obcokrajowców) odbyli spotkania z władzami chińskich uniwersytetów kształcących polonistów.

Dni Otwarte Uniwersytetu Jagiellońskiego

22 marca 2019 roku w Audytorium Maximum odbyły się Dni Otwarte Uniwersytetu Jagiellońskiego, podczas których Katedra Nauczania Języka Polskiego jako Obcego/Drugiego oraz Centrum Języka i Kultury Polskiej UJ zaprezentowały swoją ofertę dydaktyczną.
